Various methods of communication are followed:

Man has always tried to share his thoughts, experiences and thought's feelings with others. Before man learnt to speak a language he communicated with others through sounds, facial expressions, signs and indications. Gradually man began to communicate through words since thoughts, and messages cannot be directly sent from the mind of the sender to the mind of the receiver some medium or channel has to be used.

In communication, there is a large variety of media are available due to technological development and man's innovation. The choice of a medium depends on the sender, receiver, the cost of transmission, the nature of medium and accuracy of transmission, time and distance.
